I thought of this idea when I was 10-11 years old, then I drew the concept/design when I was in highschool in the early 1990's, entered the drawing in a local art contest after completion and won! The only enhanced portion of this drawing in post editing, is the white, blue, black outer atmosphere and stars, which was done in photoshop; everything else remains the same. Before I drew this concept/design, I discovered the work of M.C. Escher who was an inspiration. This artwork is not any kind of derivative of his work, but some of his work did inspire me to imagine and create my own idea/concept.
